NPNRU launched following a reference guide plan and full project management in successive phases in inhabited areas.
Over-representation of cars, social specialisation and dilapidated facilities. In this fragmented district, unauthorised parking needs to be organised, and the revival of the weakened commercial dynamism needs to be accompanied by a new identity.

The objectives of the project are:
· To attract new residents to the town centre
· To improve housing conditions and the quality of life for residents, and to enable them to progress through the housing cycle.
The strategy developed as part of the urban project aims to facilitate the integration of the entire town centre with its surroundings.
It is structured around five key themes:
· From regeneration to restructuring: towards an attractive range of housing in the town centre;
· Promoting balanced economic and commercial development;
· Improving accessibility, mobility and connections;
· Enhancing the urban fabric, public spaces and heritage;
· Providing access to public facilities and services.
The Mail Victoria and Lacaussade Park were the first two areas to be developed.
Chemin Lontan, developed subsequently, enabled the restructuring of a major shopping street in the town centre and the creation of a new forecourt for the town hall.
