In September 2022, the City of Poitiers is opening a unique cultural project, Le Miroir, within the walls of the former Place Leclerc theatre in Poitiers.
Open to all fields of visual expression, the Miroir offers exhibitions that establish a dialogue between the arts and forms, creative approaches and eras.
Jean-Luc Dorchies is the curator of the first exhibition, “Face à Face Reflets et miroirs”. Agathe Argod, Scène Publique, prescribed the lighting equipment to equip the venue and set the scene for the first exhibition.
The exhibition is a tribute to the master glassmakers, decorators and artists of the 1950s and also invites contemporary artists who work with the material, including Peter Briggs, Brno del Zou…
